Today was another day of getting to know people in the quarter here in MJ. Although I'm in India, I have been in the Tibetan quarter all week and have been learning so much every day from the people here. Each one has a unique story about how they were sent into exile, often as very small children. Their parents wanted them to grow up in a land where they can be free to be Tibetans, where they can speak their own language, practice their Buddhism and show homage to the Dalai Lama. To be whole. It's going to take a while to process all of this. I've been somewhat stunned and amazed at their stories.
On Sept. 27 I will be heading up to one of the highest cities in the world where humans live... LEH http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leh in one of the most beautiful regions on earth I'm told! LADAKH! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ladakh
Once I'm there, I won't have any internet connection due to the severe flooding that has taken place in Kashmir so my posts will follow later.
That's all for now...
